Example Language to Use in Your Will:

“I give and bequeath [insert amount or percentage] to Villages in Partnership, EIN 45-2442802, a nonprofit organization located in Allentown, NJ, to be used for its general purposes.”

Designating VIP as a beneficiary of your retirement account or life insurance policy is one of the easiest and most tax-wise ways to extend your legacy of partnership.

You can name VIP as a full or partial beneficiary of assets like IRAs, 401(k)s, life insurance policies, or bank and investment accounts.

How It Works:

• • Simply request a beneficiary designation form from your provider.
  • List "Villages in Partnership" as the primary or contingent beneficiary.

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund, you can recommend VIP as a beneficiary of a final distribution after your lifetime.

Your DAF can continue your generosity even after you're gone — fueling clean water, healthcare, scholarships, economic opportunities, and hope in Malawi.

How to Do It:

  • Name VIP as a successor beneficiary.

If you do not have DAF, speak to your financial planner. It allows you to make a tax-deductible contribution now, invest the funds tax-free, and distribute gifts to nonprofits over time in a simple and strategic way.
